There are two full time instructors assigned to the school. Both instructors lecture as well as supervise students as they interact with the public. Matthew Schwalm holds a Barber Instructors License for the State of Pennsylvania. It is also the school where he has learned his proper training in the barbering trade. Directly after completion of the program, Matt barbered at Ft. Indiantown Gap Army Base with the help of B.S.I.'s job placement program. He then worked at Steelton Barber Shop for 5 1/2 years prior to opening his own successful barbershop in 2008. Matt also instructed at another barber school before taking over ownership of B.S.I.
